Lovely place, massively let down by their dial-up 'net connection (see pic). Almost no reception either, which makes it pretty silly. It puts itself in the higher end of the market but doesn't give you the basics... Millennials beware!
Excellent meal and service. Friendly staff who surpass expectations. Food was wonderful with lots of flavours and textures.
If I could give 6 stars I would! The service from the initial telephone booking to the warm welcome to the friendly goodbye was simply exceptional. Despite being relatively busy all the staff were very attentive and I genuinely could not fault a single second. The food was in fact so good that we ended up eating it so quickly that the dinner was over soon that we had anticipated! On an Autumn evening with the large log fire going I couldn't think of a better place to enjoy a great quality dinner. I would recommend The Barn to anyone and will definitely be returning myself.
